Changes.

This month of November 2012 is dedicated to masterpiece Changes by the late and great Tupac Amaru Shakur.

The most poignant part of this song is "we ain't ready to see a black president" - as we all know, on November 7th 2012 (GMT) Barack Obama was once again appointed as the president of the United States of America for the second time. It is heartbreaking to think that Tupac never got to experience this.

Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America and the 1st Black President of the United States.

I'm sure I've mentioned many times that my favourite number is 4, although this statement may hold no relevance in this context (LOL) the fact that he's the 44th President of USA must mean something right? In hindsight, fate is such a wonderful thing! :)

Barack Obama is such an inspiration and even though I do not know him personally, I am genuinely so proud.

It goes to show, you can make a little positive change that can lead to a big positive change. This may sound cliche, and cliche is what I may sound like most times but this is so true. It is what it is. It does not require any such complication, long words and/or English techniques.

"We gotta make a change...
It's time for us as people to start making some changes.
Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live
and let's change the way we treat each other.
You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do
what we gotta do, to survive"

I love deep music and deep artists. They're the ones who further inspire me myself to delve into a realm of depth. Lord knows why I sound so posh all of a sudden but hey I guess my English teacher from secondary school would be proud of me!
