Sneak Peak.

Gasp, Sneak Peak!

There's something quite exciting about titling a blog post as "Sneak Peak" - SHE leaves her readers wondering... Leaves them in suspense and tension! Makes them envision what is to come in the near future... "Erm Jennifer this isn't an English lesson" oh whoops, got a little carried away there as per usj (usual)!

Sneak peak of what I hear you ask? Well well well wouldn't you like to know? Fineee I'll tell you! ;)
I will be sharing with you my favourite moneysaving smartphone apps on iOS.

Okay let's get started, I just absolutely love photography. In love. When we were younger, my mother would carry a camera EVERYWHERE and take pics/vids of us doing EVERYTHING. It's true, pictures are worth 1000 words. I love memories. In love.

So I've taking this photography thing to a new level. I literally self-voluntarily RESEARCH photography jargon everyday (yes yes I can be lame, apologies) and know I feel as though I know quite a bit now, and would you like to know where this love stemmed from? Genuinely because of 'iPhoneoghy iOS' apps! When I first got an iPhone a few years ago, I was latched onto the App Store and AMAZED at all the opportunities to learn new things and potentially create masterpieces. You could save money with iOS apps as opposed to buying photo editing software that will set you back hundreds. Here are some apps I've fallen in love with:

1. iPhoto £2.99 - Save hundreds (compared with Photoshop)
To cut a long story short: I can turn an iPhone pic into a potential for a glossy mag! By the time I'm done, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, I promise :)

2. Dropbox / Photoshop Free - Save hundreds (compared with buying physical storage)
External hard drive? Womp womp! Save and back up all your pictures on Dropbox or Photobucket! Quick and Easy, I've used these for years :)

3. Hairstyle App £1.69 (Save yourself money and trouble from a new hairstyle you may not like!)
Okay this next one is so random but so cool at the same time. You can literally try out lots of hairstyles/haircolours using a picture of yourself. Nearly two years ago, I had dark purple hair and if it wasn't for this app I probably wouldn't have gone for it!

4. Pic Stitch / Pic Collage Free - Save time and money!
I love sharing my tips with you guys. Coming up is an example of how I used these two apps together to create a unique collage (I like to call a "Hint Of Red"). If it weren't for these free apps, I would literally have no idea where to start!

BONUS App for iOS & ANDROID:
Whats App £0.69 (FREE ON ANDROID) - Save money from calls and texts - send multimedia for free!
If you haven't heard about Whats App, I will definitely be on my way to help you get out of the box you've been living in! Whats App is great and it's cross platform e.g. Android users can speak to iPhone users who can speak to Blackberry users and vice versa!

Also (OMG you talk so much Jennifer!), just the other day I got this iOS app from Adobe called Adobe Photoshop Touch (iPad) and WOW is all I can say right now. It's definitely a great 'on the go' alternative to the PC/Mac version. The possibilities just seem endless. It has tutorials in-app, and I'm that type of person that loves to read EVERYWORD of a manual so to make sure I'm getting the best out of a product/app so literally in this case, I followed each tutorial back to back and I am in love. In love. So this is a sneak peak to what is going to the THE BOMB DOT COM (yeah I went old school, sue me). Previously, due to my non stop interest and research I've learnt quite a bit by myself regarding editing and photography itself so I have managed to take some decent pics over my time and do a decent bit of editing (ahhem check out the top pic on my other blog www.hintofred.co.uk). Anyway, talk about going off on a tangent (tangent.. maths.. Economics.. ahh I had a Mathematics for Economics exam at University the other day!).

I can't wait to see what else I can get up to with these apps!

bang bang, i shot you down.
Jumpsuit - Internacionale. Sneakers - Air Jordans. Mac Coat - Malatan (gift from Aunty). Banada - LS/Malta. Lipstick - Mac Russian Rouge.

I know I know, you're like "Really Jen!? I thought you said Sneak Peak? That was more like a Quantum Physics Dissertation!"

Until next time ;)
