Yes yes yes LFW! When I tell you I was busy, I was BUSY but happily busy of course. Back to back shows to events to after parties and then the whole cycle again the next day!

Overall day 1 was amazing, I met Llymrs who is an absolute sweetheart. I also saw Jameela Jamil again and she's just lovely. I love when I meet people and the conversation flows so well without any semi-awkwardness :)

What I wore:

Boohoo leather dress.
Custom skirt designed by myself.
Black heels with gold embellishment.
Gold buckle leather belt.
Pink Mac Lipstick.

OMG can you believe it, I have two of my fave red lipsticks and couldn't find even one anywhere! I really wanted to finish the look with red lipstick and was looking everywhere but time was running out so I went for a hot pink! Sometimes these things happen, you should always have a plan C maybe even D :)

Pink bra alert! Apologies, but at least it matches my pink lipstick!

The night before, well literally at 11:59 I decided I wanted to put curlformers in my hair so that it was stretched and bouncy so that's exactly what I did! I washed my hair in jumbo twists with a sulphate free shampoo paying particular attention to my scalp and giving it a nice stimulating massage. I also did a gentle homemade sugar scalp scrub to take off any excess product build up, If you want more deets comment below! I let my hair semi air dry before installing the curlformers, I listened to Classical FM as I did it so it was super soothing and time whizzed by. My process is simple, as soon as I step out of the shower I put a tiny bit of castor oil on each individual jumbo twist and then allow to air dry until damp and not soaking wet (I hope you know what I mean!) and then before installing the curlformers I add moisturisers to each individual part sectioned and that's it, so easy! I slept with with the Curlformers in my hair, and as long you find find a comfortable position, they're absolutely fine! In total the Curlformers were in for about 6 hours, no heat! My first show was at 11 so I planned to leave at 9:30 so by 8:30 the curlformers were out and they set absolutely beautifully! However me being the "fashionably late" person that I am was running super late and was still indoors by 10am, it takes around 40mins to an hour to get to Somerset House from my house so I had to hurry up and had no time to take pics of the immediate curls! However if you take a look at the pics you'll see the happy curls :)



As for hair styles, I started with an all back classy "down" do on the way to Somerset house just in the hope of leaving the curls intact but then when I got to LFW, it was straight to the toilets and I went for a half up half down look (using only two bobby pins!) which is always a winner with volumised/textured hair! I was running "fashionably" late for a show so I had to be quick fast!


My next choice of hair style was a sort of "roll and tuck" updo (as seen on pics with Jameela above) using just the two bobby pins that I mentioned. It was actually an unplanned spontaneous hairstyle to get my hair off my shoulders/back just for a second and lots of people complimented me on it which was so nice :)

As for my outfit, I started off with my Boohoo leather dress on it's own but had every intention of wearing my own skirt design over it later on which it was I did! I had everything stored in my cute mini Minnie Mouse suitcase which I've had since I was a toddler. Normally there's a cloakroom but for some reason it wasn't open until the evening so best believe I was rocking my Minnie Mouse suitcase with my outfit!
